This series of instruments has been designed for the management of static units (that is, without evaporator fans) operating in low temperature conditions (below 0°C), that therefore require defrosting by electric heater or the injection of hot gas. As well as the thermometer and thermostat functions, these instruments also manage the defrost actuator. The frequency and the duration of the defrost can be set by parameter. Once having reached the set temperature (connecting a probe to the evaporator) or the set time has elapsed (also used as a safety feature for the first mode), the defrost is automatically terminated.
